I am researching several families at this time.I am trying to find any information on the Dekau line. Michael Dekau (Dykau or Dikau) came to the states from Little Gottcinilzca Poland in 1881. He was born in Rypin Russia which is now Rupin Poland. Looking for any information on his ancestors who are belived to be Michael Dykau and Christine Malitzka.
Also trying to find information on Jacob W Miller born in 1816 in Jefferson Co PA. His father was Jacob Miller born 1780. The family was in Stark Co OH in the 1830 census. Jacob W moved to Delaware Co IN about 1840 and owned the first general store there. Looking for any information on Jacob Sr's family.
On my father's paternal side the Sinclair, Mendenhall, McDaniel, Garrison, and Tyner surnames are just a few. These families lived in Indiana, Ohio, and Virginia.
On my father's maternal side are the Waddell, Costello, Perdue, Ward, Furr and Wingo surnames. These families were in Oklahoma, Indiana, Ohio, and Virginia.
On my mother's paternal side are the Dekau, Bliskey, Chilcoat, Brenner, Headley, and Snively surnames. These families were in Indiana, Ohio, and Maryland.
On my mother's maternal side are the Curts, Miller, Darter, Trimble, Trego, Dickerson, Bryant, and Worley surnames. These familes lived in Indiana, Ohio, Virginia, and Pennsylvania.
Then there is my husband's lines, Gravatt, Brady, Adolph, Martin, and Phillips. These familes were in Nebraska, Kansas, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Ohio, and New York among others.
I am willing to share any information that I have on these lines.
