This Indenture made this 19th day of November in the year 1827 between Thomas N. Pace and Dosha Pace his wife both of the County of Barren and State of Kentucky. Witnesseth that the said Thos N Pace and Dosha his wife for and in consideration of the sum of three hundred and fifty dollars in silver to them in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath bargained and sold and by these presents doth bargain and unto Nancy G. Clark a certain tract or parcel of land situate in Barren County and state aforesaid on the waters of Glovers Creek and bounded as followeth, to wit, Beginning on a black ash and two Sugartrees, thence N 1 W 120 poles to a Sugartree and Elm thence S 64 W 190 poles to a Beech Spanish Oak and Sasafras in the head of a hollow, thence South 27 poles to three Sugartrees in Pains line, thence with Pains line S 86 E. 175 poles to the Beginning containing Eighty two acres to have to to hold the said tract of land unto the said Nancy G. Clark her heirs ans assigns forever and the said Thomas N. Pace and Dosha his wife and their heirs doth by these presents covenant and agree to warrant and defend the title of said land unto the said Nancy G. Clark and her heirs forever and from all person or persons whatever with all the appuntences as belonging to said land. In witness whereof the said Thomas N. Pace and Dosha his wife hath hereunto set their hands and seals this day and date first above written.

Kentucky, Barren County, to wit,
I William Logan, clerk of the County Court for the county aforesaid do certify taht the aforesaid Deed of Conveyance from Thomas N. Pace and Dosha his wife to Nancy G. Clark was acknowledged before me by the said Thomas N. Pace and wife to be their act and deed, she the said Dosha Pace wife of the said Thomas N. Pace being by me privily examined apart from her said husband and said writing, shown and explained to her, declared that she fully and voluntarily acknowledged and delivers the said writing to be her act and deed and I consulted that the said deed should be recorded and that she desires not to retract he acknowledgement whereupon the aforesaid Deed and this Certificate hath been duly recorded in my office. Given under my hand this 19th day of November 1827.
