Nancy G. Clark to Wade Veluzat

Know all men by these presents, that Nancy G. Clark the grantee within named for and in consideration of the sum of seventy-two Dollars to her in hand paid by Wade Veluzat of the county of Barren and state of Kentucky at and before the sealing and delivery hereof, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained, sold, assigned and set over, and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell, assign, and set over unto the said Wade Veluzat, his heirs and assigns, all that the within mentioned mesuage tenement, and tract of land, containing Eighteen acres and 27 poles bounded as follows viz. beginning at a sugartree corner between Elizabeth D. Clark and Nancy G. Clark thence with the division fence S 65 W 45 poles to a stake thence S 24 E 78 poles to a white oak and sugartree hill side thence East 24 poles to a white oak and sugartree on top a hill in the line of Peter Branstuder thence with his line and the line of Eli Branstuder N 9 W 93 poles to the beginning containing 18 A 27 P. said tract of land situated on the head waters of Glover Creek, Barren County Ky. together with all and singular the rights members and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining and the reversious and remainders rents issues and profits thereof To have and to hold the said mesuage tenement and tract of land hereby granted and assigned, or mentioned or intended so to be with the appurtenances unto the said Wade Veluzat his heirs and assigns to the only proper use and behoof of the said Wade his heirs and assigns forever. And the said Nancy G. Clark and her heirs the said hereby granted ans assigned premises with the appurtenances unto the said Wade his heirs and assigns against her the said Nancy and her heirs and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim by from, or under her them or any of them shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents. In witness whereof the said Clark has hereunto set her hand and seal ths 6th day of May 1843.

I Thomas J. Helm clerk of the county court for said county certify that this deed from Nancy G. Clark to Wade Veluzat was on this day acknowledged before me by the said Clark to be her act and deed. Whereupon the same & this certificate has been recorded in my office given under my hand this 6th day of May 1843.
