of typescript (carbon copy, 31, 4 leaves) at the Adriance Memorial
Library, Poughkeepsie, New York. David Huested was born in 1719
at Greenwich, Connecticut, the son of David and Johannah Brundage
Huested. He married Millicent Barton, daughter of Joseph Barton,
ca. 1740, probably at Greenwich. They had ten children. He died
in Washington, Dutchess County, New York, in 1787. Descendants
lived in New York and elsewhere. Includes the Boyce and other
related families. Includes, at end, transcripts of the following:
Mickel family Bible records, 1774-1875, from the family Bible
of Phillip Mickel (1774-1828) and his wife, Millicent Huested,
of Schoharie County, New York -- Husted family Bible records,
1762-1913, from the family Bible of Ebenezer E. Husted (1767-1810)
and his wife, Hannah Lewis, includes the family of Israel F. Vincent
and Hanna Husted, who were married in 1841.

lived in New England, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Illinois,
California, Oregon and elsewhere. Some descendants immigrated
to British Columbia and elsewhere in Canada. Includes Gifford,

Bible records from the Husted family Bible, printed in Berwick,
England in 1793. Records begin with Peter Husted (b. 1762), Ebenezer
Husted (1767-1810), and Hannah Lewis (b. 1771). Ebenezer and Hannah
Lewis were married and the record continues with their children.
Included in the Bible was an envelope with the address for a son
of Ebenezer and Hannah Husted in Pleasant Valley, Dutchess Co.,
New York. Includes Husted and Lewis.

The Ancestors and Descendants of Silas and William Purdy. By Donald
L. Purdy. 386 p. Francis Purdy (b. ca. 1616-1658), immigrated
from England to America. He married Mary Brundage in 1642 in Fairfield,
Connecticut. He was the first to carry the name "Purdy"
to America. This family history is centered around two of Francis
Purdy's great-great grandsons, Silas and William Purdy, including
their ancestors and descendants. Silas Purdy was born in Greenwich,
Connecticut about 1743. He married his cousin, Hanna Purdy in
1764. After their marriage, they moved to Marlboro, New York.
Silas ran a grist mill and sawmill and operated a tavern and store
on his farm. He relocated again in 1783 in what is now Wayne County,
Pennsylvania and died in 1814. William Purdy, a brother to Silas,
was born in Greenwich, Connecticut in 1749. He married Rachel
Purdy in 1769. He was licensed to preach and helped establish
a Baptist church. He died in Wayne County, Pennsylvannia in 1824.
Descendants and relatives lived in Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania,
Ohio, and elsewhere. Includes Becker, Bucklew, Husted, Ling, Mellor,
