- Can I use FrontPage Server Extensions (FPSE) on RootsWeb FreePages?
- No. FrontPage extensions such as counters, guest books, forms, etc. will not work with freepages. You can create a website and upload to freepages using FrontPage just avoid the use of extensions. Tip: To turn off server extensions in FP2000, click on the 'Tools' menu, then 'Page Options', then the 'Compatibility'. Make sure that 'Enable with Microsoft FrontPage Extensions' is not checked. This tip does not work with FP98.
- How do I insert the RootsWeb counter or guestbook code into my page?
- Place you curser where you want the counter/guestbook form to be on your page. On the tool bar click Insert>Advance>HTML, paste your code in the box that pops up, click OK. You will not be able to see the counter/guestbook form with 'normal' view but you will be able to see it in 'preview' or by previewing in your browser. /dd>
