Teel Witcher (1842-1872) and his father, James
Key Witcher (1808-1872) were killed (lynched?) perhaps on 23 August,
1872, by a mob while they were
imprisoned in the Hamilton County Jail.
The mother of Adam Teel Witcher was Jane
Teel (1810-1896). Adam married Amanda Kyle who died a year
following his death.
