MEN IN THE MOON
JOHN THADDEUS "JACK" STRIBLING & JOE RICHEY

"Men in the Moon"
at the Cotton Palace in Waco, TX

After the Cotton Belt Railroad arrived in Hamilton in 1911, Day Excursions on a motorcar to the  Cotton Palace in Waco became a possibility. The Cotton Palace was re-activated (rebuilt) in 1910 and survived until the Depression in 1931.  A popular picture-taking site at the Cotton Palace was "The Man in the Moon," as demonstrated by these two gentlemen from Blue Ridge.
