Gladys Lee Schwartz Bosse, 82, died March
10, 2004 at Hamilton. Funeral services were held March 13 at St. Paul
Lutheran Church at Shive with Pastor Peter Anderson officiating. Burial
followed in the church cemetery.
She was born April 11, l921, the second
daughter of Otto Schwartz and Ethel Vick Schwartz. She attended school
at Connell School at Shive then Hamilton High School, where she
graduated. She was married to Lesly Bosse on February 9, 1941 at St.
Paul Lutheran Church in Shive. They lived for a brief time in San Diego,
Calif. while her husband worked for Consolidated Aircraft, then moved to
Fort Worth.
The couple moved back to Shive in 1946.
Mrs. Bosse, Maw-Maw to her grandchildren, was a charter member of Shive
Grange #1629, a sewing machine operator at Patty’s of Texas, a Senior
Center worker and was a homemaker, also taking care of her
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents,
Otto and Ethel Schwartz and one sister, Margie Horton. Survivors include
her husband of 63 years, Lesly W. Bosse of Shive; a sister, Francis
Stanford of Weatherford; three children, Patricia and Glenn Murphree of
Norse, Michael and Debbie Bosse of Shive and Janet and Harold McClain of
Copperas Cove; six grandchildren, Walter Bosse, Kristi Williams, Stacy
Pfluger, Toni Kienbaum, Dawn Crain and Krystal McClain and three
great-grandchildren, Aubrey Williams, Taylor Bosse and Zach Crain as
well as several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Pallbearers were Ancel Horton, Jerry
Stanford, Joe Stanford, Jack Stanford, Bill Adams and Steve
Seidel.

Lesly Walter Bosse, 84, died at Temple Nov. 8, 2004. Funeral services were Nov. 10 in St. Paul Lutheran Church at Shive with burial following in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery with Pastor Peter K. Anderson officiating.
He was born Dec. 30, 1919 at Shive, the son of Edwin W. Bosse and Elsie Wagner Bosse. He was married to Gladys Lee Schwartz on Feb. 9,
1941 at St. Paul Church. She preceded him in death on Mach 10, 2004.
Mr. Bosse was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He and his family owned and operated Bosse Garage at Shive where they did mechanic work on cars, farm equipment, body work and anything else the community needed repaired and fixed. He was a member of St. Paul
Lutheran Church at Shive.
Survivors include three children, Patricia Murphree of Norse, Michael Bosse of Shive and Janet McClain of Copperas Cove; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Steve Seidell, Ancel Horton, Dwight Bullington, Sandy Hall, Luis Regalado, Marion
Striegler.

Malinda Lorene (Dolly) Bosse, 77, died Dec. 23 at
Hamilton General Hospital. Services were held Dec. 26 at St. Paul
Lutheran Church in Shive with Pastor Peter Anderson officiating. Burial
was at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.
Mrs. Bosse was born Aug. 2, 1922 at Shive, the
daughter of John Zettler and Alvena Julinanna Fredrichka Rosentreter
Zettler. She was married to Edwin B. Bosse on Jan. 14, 1939 at St. Paul
Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death on May 27, 1993.
She was a wife, mother grandmother and a member of St.
Paul Lutheran Church at Shive.
Her husband, two sisters, Emma Bubert and Lena
Gromatzky, and a brother, Henry Zettler, precede her in death.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Bosse and her
husband Luis Regalado and a granddaughter, Malinda Regalado, all of ...
and ...; three sisters, Vena Waedekin of ... Ella Wunderlich of ... and
Annie Nichter of ....
Pallbearers were Wesley Waedekin, Verner Gromatzky,
Alton Gromatzky, Edwin Bubert, Luther Nichter and Gary Nichter.
Honorary Pallbearers were Steve Seidel, Milton
Fabianke and Michael Bosse.

Lorene Sauers 86, died April 30, 2003 at Hamilton. Funeral services where held May 3 at St. Paul Lutheran Church at Shive with interment following in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery with Pastor Peter K. Anderson officiating.
Mrs. Sauers was born May 23, 1916 at Shive, the daughter of Chris and Augusta Marth Knipstein. She was a lifelong resident of the Shive Community and lifetime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church where she was baptized and confirmed.
On January 30, 1941, she was united in marriage to Fred Sauers. They shared
47 years of married life prior to his death on December 26, 1988. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She worked at Patty's of Texas as a seamstress for more than twenty years.
Survivors include three children and their spouses, Gilbert and Barbara Sauers of Crowley, Ola and Jimmy Merck of Stephenville and Billy Glenn and Wanda Sauers of Mobile, Ala. seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a brother, Edwin Knipstein of Stephenville.
She is preceded in death by a sister, Aline Eilers and one brother Albert Knipstein.
Pallbearers were Dee Ann Nelson, Monte Sauers, Melissa Mitchell, Tammy Callcott, Corey Sauers, Melinda Sauers and David Sauers.
