RELIGIOUS NEWSPAPER WAS PUBLISHED HERE
In 1907 there was a religious newspaper published in
Hamilton called "The Eye-Opener." IT was opposed to the
use of instrumental music in worship, and was a hard-hitter at what it
believed to be false teachings and doctrines.
W. E. Lemmons, a young preacher, published the paper
monthly. IT was eight pages and sold for 50 cents a year.
