DORIS LEIGHTON (REED) (BOWIE) PROCTOR

Doris Leighton Proctor 84, died Dec. 3, 2002 Hamilton. Funeral services were
held Dec. 5 at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Stan Sullivan
officiating. Burial followed in Restland Cemetery in Dallas.

Mrs. Proctor was born June 15, 1918 at Corsicana, Texas to John Miller Reed
and Edrie Eugene Leighton Reed.

She was married to Loren Charles Bowie in 1941. He preceded her in death in
1975.

In 1984 she was married to Edward W. Proctor who also precedes her in death.

Mrs. Proctor was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great
grandmother. She was a member of the Episcopal Church.

Survivors include three children, Buckie Pate of Hamilton, John Bowie of
Houston and Cheryl Fisher of Athens; five grandchildren, nine great-
grand-children and one brother John Miller Reed of Dallas.

Pallbearers were Morris K, Padgett, Jon English, Kelly Ralls, David N.
Gorman and Steven Padgett.
