MOLLIE (THORNTON) PEDERSON
Mrs. Mollie Pederson of 816 S. Beacon,
Dallas, passed away September 7, 1979 in Baylor Hospital of Dallas.
She was born August 26, 1903, in Bell
County. She came to Hamilton County with her parents, the late Mr. and
Mrs. J. W. Thornton, and grew up in the Tonkawa community.
She was married September 4, 1921, to Oscar
Pederson and they made their home in Hamilton County until early 1936,
when they moved to Dallas. Her husband preceded her in death on Jan 4,
1979.
She is survived by three sons, Carl Pederson
and Paul Henry Pederson of Dallas, and Oscar Vernon Pederson of Azle;
one daughter, Martha Ellen Paschall of Dallas; one brother, Arlos
Thornton of Hamilton; and two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Riley of Lubbock and
Mrs. Isabel Woodard of Mesquite.
Funeral services were held Monday, Sept. 10,
at 10 a.m. in the Troy Suggs Chapel, with Rev. Clyde Box officiating.
Pallbearers were Alvis Eilers, Leon Groom,
Robert Thornton, Randy Wright and Richard Sims.
Interment was in Grove Hill Cemetery in
Dallas.
