PARTRIDGE CREEK

PARTRIDGE CREEK heads north of McGirk and travels east being crossed by US 281 about nine miles south of Hamilton and continues to the northeast to join the Cowhouse Creek.

"Partridge Creek heads near the George Kincheloe home, crosses the Shive and McGirk road, goes through the Louis Paullin sheep ranch and fifty acres of land owned by the State for a lake and park. Highway 66 (US 281) crosses it just below where they are building the lake. It empties in to the Cowhouse on the Hogg Brothers old ranch."--Doris LaRue Stapleton and Capt. C. E. Horton.
