County Agent for Gulf Products, warehouse located in
Hamilton, telephone 367, is a local boy who is prominent in public affairs
of this city.

R. B. Miller is a product of Hamilton county. He was
born at Gentry’s Mill and has lived his entire life in this immediate
territory. His father, Jim Miller, was one of the early pioneers of the
Gentry’s Mill community which is older than Hamilton. In 1914 he was
married to Miss Lenn Baker who is also a native of this county. They have
four children: Miss Elizabeth, who attended the State University the past
year; Bob, who will be a senior in Hamilton High School next year; and
Virginia Moss and Mary Otis.
Mr. Miller is very active in church, school, and civic
work. He is superintendent of the Methodist Sunday School, president of
the school board, a member of the Lions Club, and takes an active part in
all things that tend for the advancement of Hamilton and vicinity. He is
one of Hamilton’s most useful citizens.
He has had the agency for the Gulf Refining Company in
this county since 1925. They dispense "That Good Gulf Gasoline’ and
Gulf Pride Oils. This company is among the largest in the United States
being both producers and refiners. Their plants are among the best and the
products put out by this well known company represent the highest point of
