Robert McKinley is another Hamilton man who chose to
live in and begin his career in his home town. Ten years ago he entered
the mercantile business, opening his first store on he north side of town
and afterwards moved to what is known as the Palace of Streets and opened
a shoe store and carried on a successful trade. He again moved to the
south side to the building which he now occupies.
This enterprising young man is a son of Mr. and Mrs. E.
L. McKinley, Hamilton pioneers who have practically spent their lives on
the Cow House creek in the Shive settlement. They are farmers and
ranchers.
He married Miss Florence Hunt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
John D. Hunt, formerly of the Shive settlement, but now residents of
Hamilton.
Robert H. McKinley is one of the most substantial
business firms of the town. They specialize in shoes and carry the finest
and best lines on he market and fit all sizes and care for your foot
troubles. They also carry a fine line of hosiery men’s and women’s
wear.
Mrs. McKinley aids her husband in the business
