ARTHUR LEMMONS

WILLIAM ARTHUR LEMMONS

-----

Coryell County has furnished Hamilton with a number of substantial citizens of whom the town is justly proud. Among these excellent Coryell County people who have become our home folks id Arthur Lemmons, brother [sic--son] of the Mayor of Hamilton.

Mr. Lemmons came to Hamilton in 1905 and has been actively engaged in business ever since. He is now a successful garage and general repair service station owner, located on the east side of the square. He is well-known for his courtesy and affableness in dealing with his customers. He carries the famous Texaco gas and oil.

Mr. Lemons married Miss Grace Hitt of Comanche. They have three sons; two of them in San Marcos attending college and the youngest is a high school student of Hamilton. These boys are among the promising young men who will constitute the future citizenship of the town and community.
