SURPRISE PARTY GIVEN FOR HORACE FOWLER

A stag party arranged by Mrs. Horace Fowler on Friday, June 22, the night of her husband’s birthday, came as a complete surprise to the honor guest. John Koen and Mack Morgan kept him away from his home until all the guests were assembled.

The rooms were attractively prepared for games of dominoes and forty-two. After the games were over a plate of delicious ice cream and angel food cake was served to the following guests: Nester Stidham, Gus Huddleston, Shade Register, Fred Fetty, Fred Gent, Jack Koen, Joe Cleveland, John Stocks, Bernard Miller, Bill Coston, Willis Watson, A.
