Nolen Earl Kitchens died Jan. 30, 2003 at Hamilton.
Funeral services were held Feb. 3 at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with
Mark Irby and Gene Van Nord officiating. Burial followed in Hill Cemetery
at Eulogy.
Mr. Kitchens was born January 10, 1935 at Jackson, Mississippi, the son of
Roy Winston Kitchens and Evelyn Lee Kitchens.
He was employed by National Cash Register Company for sixteen years prior
to having his own
cash register company and office supply business for nine years. He was
employed by B.F.I. where he served as office manager at a number of
different locations prior to his retirement in 1994.
He was a member of the Evant Church of Christ where he served as a song
leader, something he really loved to do, as long as his health would
permit. He was devoted to his church and led his life in a way that set an
example for other. He was a caring loving husband, father, grandfather and
great grandfather.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one brother.
Survivors include his wife Wanda Fay Kitchens; four children, Gordon
Farrell Kitchens and Rhonda Coleene Kindrick, Kevin Randall Kitchens, and
Allan Everette Kitchens; seventeen grandchildren; two great- grandchildren
and one sister, Violet Beard.
Pallbearers were Gene Payne, Jack Wall, Jeramy Kitchens, Cory Carlson,
Josh Carlson, Sam Garcia.
