"The Arrow" was a newspaper published
about 1913 in Indian Gap. Both "The Arrow" and the
"Comanche Chief" newspapers published articles in 1913
and 1916 respectively, about a group of menfrom Newburg,
Comanche County, who organized a road building team to construct a
road to Lampasas which would connect with another road to Williamson
County where groceries and other supplies could be purchased. A gap in
the mountains was cut for the road at the future Indian
Gap.
