High School Reformatory was the name bestowed upon the
Bull's Point School in 1889 after its small plank building was
returned to its original Hamilton Countylocation--near the entrance to Murphree Cemetery
north of Evant and fourteen miles
south of Hamilton. For
the school term of 1888, Bull's Point School had been moved into COVE(Evant).
Miss Lizzie Fifer taught the 1890 term of this
school. Miss Lizzie Fifer and her younger sister, Miss Amber
Fifer taught the 1891 term of this school.
In 1892 Bull’s PointSchool was consolidated with CoveSchool into an independent school district by a special act
of the state legislature.
