Hills Dale/Hillsdale Baptist Church was
organized by Joseph Alexander Land before 1878 at Izora/Townson Mill in Lampasas County. Hillsdale
was admitted to the Hamilton County Baptist Association on 9 September,
1878, and participated until it was dismissed by letter on 19 August,
1893.
