HENDERSON CREEK

Henderson Creek (about thirteen miles south of Hamilton) flows between Blackburn Hollow and Ohio. HWY 281 crosses Henderson Creek about three miles south of the Cowhouse Creek. It empties into the Cowhouse on the old Hogg Brothers Ranch.  According to the Handbook of Texas Online, Henderson Creek is also known as Sycamore Creek.

"Henderson Creek heads above Charley Vollentine goat ranch. Highway 66 (US 281) crosses it three miles south of Cowhouse Creek. It empties into the Cowhouse on the old Hogg Brothers ranch."--Doris LaRue Stapleton and Capt. C. E. Horton.
