There were six grades in the Goar
School in 1911 when Geneva Sills, who would later become
Mrs. Silas R. Allen, began her teaching career. In 1924-25 Miss
Alta Tarrant (who later became Mrs. Virgil M. Santy) was the
teacher in this school whose school board included E. W. Niel, J. B.
Goar, and J. S. Sorley.
