Funeral services for Mrs. Ula Amanda George were held Dec. 13, 1973, at 10 a.m. at the Riley Funeral Chapel. Rev. W. C. Taylor, Jr. officiated at the service with burial in the Pottsville Cemetery.

Mrs. George died suddenly Dec. 11. She was born in Hamilton County, the daughter of the late Anabel Smith Kemp and George Foster Kemp, August 15, 1897. On Jan. 21, 1936, she was married to Marshall Andrew George who preceded her in death Oct. 9, 1965.

She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Joe (Esta) Hamilton of Hamilton and Mrs. Bessie McGlothlin of Dublin; and one brother, Harmon Kemp of Lamkin.

Nephews served as pallbearers.

J.O. GEORGE

Funeral services for John Olin George will be held here Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. Mr. George died in Mohave General Hospital Monday.

J.L. Hines of the Church of Christ will officiate at the services in the Memorial Chapel of the Van Marter-Hale Mortuary. Interment will follow at Mountain View cemetery.

Mr. George was born in Indian Gap, Texas, on November 10, 1900, and had lived in Mohave County since coming here from Parker, Ariz., 19 years ago. He was a carpenter and had recently managed a service station.

Mr. George was a member of the Church of Christ.

Pallbearers at the service will include W. H. Crosswhite, Jim Lightfoot, Dick Smith, Ruel Lightfoot, G.E. Sumner and Orval Bradley.

He is survived by his wife Lillian E. George of Kingman; a daughter, Doris Oliver of Oneona, Ala. and a don Dale George of Kingman.

Also surviving are three brothers, Otho of Ft. Worth, Marshall of Energy, Texas and Alvin of Moran, Texas; and three sisters, Myrtle Knapp of Lindale, Texas; Elvie Stagner of Hico, Texas; and Maude Beckner of Fort Worth; and six grandchildren.
