FREEMAN was a few miles south of Hamilton
between FM 218 and FM 2005. There were seven grades in Freeman School
in 1911. Edgar Bynum Pruitt was the teacher at Freeman School
in 1912. Mrs. J. C. McPherson taught at Freeman in 1924-25
when John Featherston, W. M. Thompson, and A. R. Lightfoot were
on the school board.
