THE WILLIAM DALE COLE FAMILY

The Dale Cole Family were living at Fairy as far back as I can remember. I attended school with all the children. Before Mr. Cole passed away he ran the Post Office and ran a Store. The Cole children were: Mattie Joe, Robert, Leon, Myrtle, Lucy, and Dale.  Mrs. Cole did a Credible job of rearing her family after Mr. Cole’s passing. Robert was a great help to her. He began working at Steve Majors Gin when but twelve years old. He first ran the suction, then the press, and finally the gin stands. The family moved to the State of Nevada where Robert was elected Labor Commissioner. He was later connected with the government at Washington. He is now retired and living [in] Florida.
