THE J. H. WILSON FAMILY
Grandpa Wilson ran the Blacksmith shop as far back as I can remember.
He and his son, Will, also ran a grocery store where the Petty store
burned earlier. Often when I as a boy would pass the shop, Grandpa would
say, "Boy are you going to the Post Office? If so, would you please
fetch my mail? " I liked his coigned [sic]
English. The old Wilson house still stands next to my home on Main St.
The Wilson children were Jim, John, Thomas, Will, and Maymee, Mrs.
Steve Gardner--all deceased.
