Seminary; and John Brown University of Arkansas. He was married to Miss
Catherine Adell Kennedy of Shreveport. They have four children. He served
Coryell as pastor only a short time. The people had moved away, the boys
had gone to the Army, and the girls had become nurses or gone to work. The
attendance at church was small because of the condition of the times. In
addition to Coryell Church, Brother Warren served as pastor to Union
Valley, Chalk Bluff, Bruceville, and Crawford.
While he was a patient in a hospital, he became interested in hospital
work. For the last several years he has been administrator of hospitals in
different places, and he is now at Central Baptist Hospital, Lexington,
Kentucky.
REVEREND JOE MORRIS -- PASTOR
1944 AND 1945
As Brother Morris is in the United States Navy, we failed
to obtain a sketch of his life.
Miss Minnie [Minnie Clementine] Boyd resigned as Church Clerk and Miss
Antha Roe was elected to that office.
Reverend Lene of West, Texas, held a revival in 1944.
Reverend DuBose of Crawford Baptist Church conducted the revival in 1945.
