Brother High baptized the following during the years he was pastor:

Faye Hall, Norma Knight, Marie [Alma Marie] Crain, Lucile Bradshaw, J. M. [James Madison "Dixie"] Davis, Jr., Dorothy Crelia, Olan Adkins, Mrs. Olan Adkins, Wilson Adkins, Edwin Petree, Howard Boyd, Blanche Dossey, Johnnie Ruth Dossey, Charlie Dossey, Emalene Davis, Mary Sue Davis, Gerald Davis, Bill Windham, Roy Necessary, N. W. Burton, Cleo Gilchrist, Agnes Gilchrist, Ina Gilchrist, Wes Williams, Mrs. Wes Williams, Willie Mae Boyd, Fayvette Ray, Norma Jean Clark, Lloyd Bunch, Doris Ray, Jo [Elizabeth Jo] Davis, Ray Hall, and Edwin Petree.

Brother High had a brother who served the church well. Brother Felix High was a wonderful Sunday School Superintendent. He was loyal and industrious and kept the Sunday School on its toes. He was dependable and the country was improved for his having been among us. He went to McGregor to live and was called to his heavenly home a few years ago.

 

A. Myers - - Pastor 1934 - 1936

Brother Myers’ first church was Concord, a few miles east of Waco. Coryell Church was his second. He next went to Elm Mott bear Waco, and now pastors the Memorial Church, of Waco. While at Coryell, the Sunday School attendance
