The Sunday School had increased in membership until they needed other classrooms. Six classrooms were added under the leadership of a committee composed of J. B. [Josiah Betram "Bertie"] Foster, Wade Graves, Cody Anderson, and Thornton McGregor.

Graydon Webb was elected deacon and was ordained in 1929. He served as a faithful servant of the Lord at Coryell Church until he moved from there, and then continued serving the Lord elsewhere.

 

A revival was held in August with Bro. [Arthur] Loper, the evangelist. Brother Charlie Cluck surrendered to preach. The church granted him license, and later he was ordained by the Oglesby Church. Those uniting with the church by baptism were:

Annie Rae Davis, Opal Keltner, Ruby Bates, Dorene Davis, Mary Frances Blevins, Marie Miller, Hattie Warren, Charlie Warren, E. O. Dixon, Jewel Cluck, Jettie Adkins, Truett Merritt, Truman Merritt, Billie Mooney, Burney Bennett, Loyz Terry, Lillene Burton, Olene Williams, Frank Bradshaw, Wendell Clemmons, Leona Pulley, Annie Mae Bradshaw, Irene Bradshaw, Ethel Webb, Graydon Webb, Mary Hettie Miller, Curt Bennett, Sr., and Luit Bradshaw.

After leaving Coryell Church, Brother Everette Funderburk was pastor of churches at
