R. Q. Roe and Fred [Fred Jehu] Boyd were ordained deacons September 17, 1916.

 

J. M. Dosher - Pastor 1919 - 1921

Brother Dosher was born in Springfield, Missouri in 1858, came to Texas and settled near Crawford in 1866. He married Miss Laura Whitman in 1880; they had five children. Brother Dosher was a farmer until he was thirty-eight years old. It was then that he felt the call to preach. He preached the word of God for several years throughout Texas and Oklahoma. The revivals held at Coryell during this pastorate
