C. P. Osburn, Sue Barrow, Mrs. Nunley, I. M. Dowis, S. N. McPeak, W. H. and Rachel Maroney, Mrs. A. E. Woodward, W. R. Butler and wife, S. H. Butler, R. H. [Randolph Hunter "Randall"] Gibson, and Mollie [Mary Lenora "Molly" Cauthen] Gibson, J. E. Gilmer, & Mrs. J. E. Gilmer, and S. N. Earp.

J. M. RENFRO PASTOR, 1888-1891

Coryell Church cooperated with First Baptist Church in McGregor, and a revival was held in, or near, McGregor. Major W. E. Penn was the revivalist. He was a man of great earnestness and ability, usually won great victories and many souls for the Lord.

A little later J. M. B. Gresham of Moody conducted a revival at Coryell. Those received by baptism by Brother Renfro were:
