MR. PRICE YALE
Campbell lived out west of town I think he said. Once he and Will
Claunch both ran for a county office and both got beaten. He had a nephew
named Price Yale, who was about the best horseman and roper in the
country. He and Hal were beautiful handlers of horses. Yale went off to another
county got sent to the penitentiary for cow or horse stealing,
but broke out and went to New Mexico.
Once at Breckenridge during the boon days, I was with my father and an
??? man stepped out of a little joint, and he said, "Hello,
Ramsey." This was the man who had been sheriff at Hamilton.
