Gatesville - Frances Schumacher Angerman, 81, died Tuesday, Dec., 10, in a Temple hospital.
 
Graveside services were Thursday, Dec., 12, at Cranfills Gap Cemetery with Rev. Charles Brinkmeyer officiating. Scott's Funeral Home of Gatesville was in charge of Arrangements.
 
Mrs. Angermann was born May 25, 1915, the daughter of Jessie Mance and Noma Irene Ridings Cranfill. She was reared at Spring Creek where she attended and graduated from school. She worked as a fire department dispatcher for the City of Meridian for several years. She was married to John Fred Schumacher in 1943. He died June 11, 1971. She was married to Bernard Angermann on Feb., 17, 1985. They made their home in Gatesville. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Coryell City.
 
Survivors include her husband, Bernard Angermann of Gatesville; a daughter, Wyvonne Henneke of New Ulm; three sons, Jerry Angermann of Dallas, Harry Schumacher of Weatherford and John Schumacher of Keller; a brother, Travis Cranfill of Waco; 14 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
 
Pallbearers were her grandsons.
 
Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church or Gatesville Senior Center.

ROBERTS, CORA BELL (MAYNARD)



Cora Bell Roberts 88, died Dec. 5, 2003 at the Goodall-Witcher Hospital in Clifton. Funeral services were conducted Dec. 8 at the First Baptist Church in Cranfills Gap with Rev. Danny Rogers and Rev. Billy McClellan officiating. Burial followed in the Cranfills Gap Cemetery.


Mrs. Roberts was born August 29, 1915 in Bell County, the daughter of the late Charles Franklin Maynard and Annie Viola Tucker Maynard.

On June 20, 1929 she was married to Claude Lee Roberts who preceded her in death on Sept. 24, 1965. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She was always there for her family and friends, a Christian lady that lived a Christian life. She found great joy and love in music and fellowship with her family and friends. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cranfills Gap. She was affectionately known as Granny Roberts or Little Granny.
She is preceded in death by one son, Charles Edward Roberts; a brother and two sisters.
Survivors include ten children, Amos Lee Roberts of Sweetwater, Billy Ray Roberts of Clifton, Raymond Leeroy Roberts and Leona Bell Simons, Doyle Eugene Roberts and Ossie Ray Scott, all of Hamilton, Earnest Dean Roberts of Carlsbad, N.M., Mildred Lorine Burleson of Cranfills Gap, Polly Ann Stepp of Cranfills Gap, Linda Sue Yates of Cranfills Gap and a daughter-in-law Jaye Roberts of Big Springs; 33 grandchildren; 75 great- grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Arvil Maynard of Lometa and Milton Maynard of Palestine.

Pallbearers were Hank Lee Simons, R. L. Roberts Jr., Roy Glenn Roberts, Jerry Dwayne Roberts, Charles Edward Roberts Jr., Michael Dale Roberts, David Todd Roberts, Victor Wayne Scott, Rodger Lee Scott, Christopher Dean Roberts, Bradley Coy Roberts, Shannon Paul Roberts , Frank Vincent Burleson, Jason Paul Roberts, Samantha Shawnteil Yates and Kimberly Ann Harrington.
