Miss Elta Putnam was employed for three months
on 31 May, 1880, as the teacher for Connell School, No. 24 by the trustees--
J.
Cooper and S. V. Sumruld.
Mary Alice Shipp taught at Connell
before 1919.
Connell School had seven
grades in 1911. In 1924-25 school board members were Otto Schwartz, J. H. Baker, and
Rube Landua while Mrs. Mike Harris
and Miss Bertie Perkins were the teachers.
1936 was the last year
for Connell School whose teachers were Weldon B. Sills, and Mrs.
Robert Clary. Weldon Bailey Sills taught at Connell. Connell
students were to be transferred into Shive
in 1937.
