Irene Onecta Hansard, 71, died Tuesday, May 11, at
her home near Carlton.
Services will be Thursday, May 13, at 2 p.m. in the
Harrell Memorial chapel in Dublin with Rev. Neil Wade officiating. Burial
will be in the Barbee Cemetery.
Mrs. Hansard was born Feb. 8, 1928, in Arkansas, the
daughter of Joseph E. and Frankie Campbell. She was married to Andrew
Hansard on Sept. 29, 1945, in Birdville. She was a retired cook for the
Fort Worth ISD and had lived in Carlton since 1985. She was a member of
Edna Hill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Janette
Hansard and Patsy Sheppard.
Survivors include her husband, Andrew Hansard of
Carlton; three sons, Danny Hansard of Carlton, Tommy Hansard of Fort Worth
and Jerry Hansard of Hamilton; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren;
five sisters, Pauline Gray of Sacramento, Calif., Lorine Allen of
Chandler, and Agnes Courtney, Josie Sinkfield and Vennia Reeves, all of
Fort Worth; and a brother, Joe Campbell of Rising Star.
