FANNIE LEE (CROSBY) (HOPKINS) BALLARD

94th Birthday Party

The Hamilton Herald-News
Hamilton County, Texas
31 August, 1978

Mrs. Fannie Ballard, who is a resident of Leisure Lodge, was honored on her 94th birthday Sunday, August 27, with a dinner at the home of a son and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Dud Hopkins of Hamilton. A grandson's wife from Azel made the beautiful cake, a work of art.

All of her children, a number of grandchildren, and four great grandchildren were there. It was a wonderful day with picture taking of the five generations and visiting. The honoree, fortunate to be so active and alert, enjoyed it all immensely. She received many cards and gifts, and especially appreciated the handmade gifts from her fellow residents of Leisure Lodge.

Those attending were her children, Roy Hopkins, and his two grandsons, Tommie and Tim Kuenzi of San Marcos, Calif., Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Hopkins of Fort Worth; Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Johnson of Hamilton.

Others attending were Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hopkins, Clint, Ginger and Jamie, of Azel; Susie, Marsey and Misty Flatt of Fort Worth; Janet, Cynthia and Luke Cowley, and Gracie Lee Hopkins of Fort Worth; Barry, Toni and Jeffrey, Waco; Mary Lou Crosby, Irving; and Clint Crosby Jr. and Rilla Brown of Hamilton.
