Anglin School was established
between Lanham and Jonesboro about 1908 by the Walter Lee
Anglin family. Students in Anglin School in 1911 were enrolled
in six grades. In 1924-25, Miss Gladys Goolsby was the teacher at
this school and Hugo Viertel, W. F. Meissner, and W. C. Oglesby were on the school board.
