I am looking for the Ancestors/Descendants of MARGARET
LOCKET who is my GREAT-GREAT GRANDMOTHER according to the Death Certificate of my
Great Grandfather Allen H. Shepard.
Two of her siblings maybe WILLIE LOCKET
and EDWARD LOCKET who lived on Livingston close to the ALLEN H. SHEPARD'S of 203
Livingston.
On the obituary of my Aunt LILLIE SHEPARD PAGE, HIRAM LOCKET
of Tampa, FL was listed as one of her surviving nephews. I believe Hiram's parents
were WILLIE and EMMA STATEM (NC) LOCKET. He may have had a brother name TIMOTHY.
My mother RUBYE WILLIAMS HAMPTON remembers the family of EDWARD AND JANE LOCKET
on Livingston as being related. (Mildred, Mattie, I.D., Lela Bell, Maude, Sarah
and Louie. She remembers additional surnames of Vickers, Evans and Davis.)

MARGARET LOCKET was born 1857 in South Carolina. I do not know when or where
she died. I am assuming she died in Terrell County. She married ALLEN SHEPARD. I
am assuming of Terrell County; still looking for documentation as proof on both
my Great-Great Grandparents.

SHEPARD are:
1. ALLEN HENRY SHEPARD, b. 1878, Terrell County, d. 09 May 1927,
Sylvester. Occupation: Mortician - Shepard Bros Funeral Home. His Death Certificate
informant was his Brother, Dock Shepard. He married ELLA BELLE WEBB, daughter of
SAMUEL WEBB and ELIZABETH WEBB. She was born 21 Jan 1881 in Bainbridge, and died
15 Apr 1980 in Albany.

1. RUBYE SHEPARD, b. 11 Mar
1909, Sylvester, d. 08 Apr 1977, Albany. Teacher. She married RANDOLPH WILLIAMS.
2. CHARLOTTE SHEPARD, b. 27 Mar 1911, Sylvester; d. 26 May 1969, Sylvester. Teacher.
3. ABIGAIL SHEPARD???, b. 1910, Sylvester.
2. DOCK SHEPARD, b. 14 Dec
1883 or 8 Dec 1881, Terrell County; d. 24 Oct 1970, Albany. He married ELLA D.,
1906; b. 1888. He had a step/adopted daughter whose name I do not know. Uncle Dock's
Death Certificate informant was his Granddaughter, Ellene Cantrell. Occupation:
Mortician - Shepard Bros Funeral Home.
3. LILLIE SHEPARD, b. 19 Oct 1879, Terrell County; d. 15 Feb 1974, Albany, Dougherty. She married TIMOTHY PAGE. He was born May 1871 not sure where, and died 1936 in Albany, Dougherty. He was a mail carrier and she sold Avon and was an active member of Bethel A.M.E. Church. They had one son. MARION S. PAGE, b. Mar 1896, Terrell County, Dawson; d. 18 May 1971, Albany, Dougherty. He married MAMIE BEA TAYLOR.
4. ALICE SHEPARD, b. Terrell
County; d. Atlanta. Lived on Ashby Street. She married a FLANDERS. I do not know
his first name. They had one son. ALBERT FLANDERS, b. 10 Dec 1918, Pennsylvania;
d. 08 May 1978, Los Angeles, California. I do not know if he married.
5. UNKNOWN
(Martha??) SHEPARD (Female-Deaf/Mute), b. unknown d. Albany, Dougherty. Lived with
Aunt Lillie in Albany. I do not know if she married. Aunt Lillie adopted her only
son. MARVIN S. PAGE, b. Albany, d. Dublin, Virginia. I do not know if he married.
