In the name of God Amen. I, PETER HODOSON, of the State of Georgia, Warren County, being in common health and sound memory but calling to mind the uncertainty of this life do make and ordain this my last will and testament and first of all I give my soul into the hands of God that gave it me and my body to be buried in a Christian-like manner and what worldly goods it hath been pleased God to indow me with I dispose of them followith:

First of all I constitute and ordain my beloved sons to wit PETER HODOSON and RICHARD HODOSON my beloved sons my ?? executors and administrators of this my last will and testament. Then I give and bequeath unto my beloved son RICHARD HODO one hundred and fifty acres tract of land where I now live only one third of said, houses and plantation excepted for the use of my beloved wife SUSANNAH HODO during her natural life in widowhood and if she should marry or at her decease the whole of said land and premises to belong to my beloved son Richard Hodo and also I further give unto my beloved son RICHARD HODO all my plantation tools and all my hoggs and waggon and two horses named Dick and Jack.

Then I give and bequeath unto my beloved son PETER HODO one young horse named Lon. I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife SUSANNAH HODO the remainder part of my estate during her natural life in widowhood and then to be equally divided among my children to wit ANN CORAM, ELIZABETH CULLERS, PETER HODO, MARY CODAY, RICHARD HODO, only one bed excepted, I give unto NATHANIEL HODO, son of RICHARD HODO.

Witness my hand and seal this Twentieth Six day of May in the year of our Lord, One Thousand Seven Hundred and Ninety Nine.
