HIGHT, HOWELL, SR. Last Will and Testament, dated Feb. 2, 1821; probated Feb. 13, 1821. To his wife ANN HIGHT, his homeplace of 580 acres, woth the livestock and slaves for her lifetime. To sons, HOWELL, WILEY, GILBERT HIGHT and daughters, SALLY JOHNSON, POLLY CRENSHAW, SUKEY GRIERSON and ANNE SHEFFIELD, one eighth of his estate each. To son, JULIUS HIGHT, $30.00 in cash. To his grandchildren (children of his son Julius) viz., LUCINDA, ALFRED, SUKEY, HENRY, HOWELL, NANCY, ELIZABETH, EDNA, CORNELIUA, and WILLIAM, the land on Hart’s Creek where the said JULIUS now lives, together with land lot 74, 7th District of Wilkinson County drawn by testator in the land lottery, together with one-eighth of testator’s estate, when the youngest of said childen is of age; said son, JULIUS, to be trustee for his said children. To testator’s grandchildren, PASCAL CRENSHAW, ELIZABETH GRIERSON (late ELIZABETH CRENSHAW), and SALLIE JOHNSON (children of testator’s daughter SALLIE JOHNSON) one eighth part of testator’s estate. To his (testator’s) grandchildren LUCY, SALLY and ZILLA ANN SHEFFIELD; DELILAH, PEYTON, FRANCES CAROLINE and WYATT OLIVER GRIERSON (children of testator’s daughter, SUKY GRIERSON) one-eighth part of his estate.
