Last will and testament

In the name of God amen. I Ann Coram being low of body but of sound mind and disposing memory do make, constitute and ordain this my last will and testament.

1st. I will that all my just debts be paid. 2nd. I will and bequeath unto Thomas Coram all that tract or parcel of land situated in the 10th District in the first section in the County of Lee containing two hundred two and a half acres which is known and distinguished in the plan of said district by the number (206). It being a tract of land that I drew. In witness whereof I do here set my hand on this 11th of April 1829.

March 1st 1830 Georgia, Warren County, Jason Hays and William M. Coram. You swear that you saw Ann Coram the testator within named sign, seal, publish, and declare this instrument of writing to be her last will and testament, that in your opinion she was of sound mind and disposing memory, that in her presence and at her request and in the presence of each other you became witnesses thereunto and that you Thomas Young, the other witness, subscribe his name also so help you God.

Last will and testament of William Coram dec.

In the name of God amen.

I William Coram being low of body, but of sound mind and disposing memory, do make, constitute, and ordain this my last will and testament.

1st. I will that all my just debts be paid.

2nd. I will and bequeath unto my beloved wife, Ann Corum (sic), during her natural life, the tract of land where I now live, together with my stock and plantation utensils. I further give unto my beloved wife all my household furniture forever; except such as is otherwise disposed of by this will.

3rd. After the death of my beloved wife I give and bequeath unto Thomas Corum (sic) all my estate both real and personal, that is not otherwise disposed of, forever.

4th. I will and bequeath unto William M. Corum (sic), after the death of my beloved wife, the following artacles (sic), viz. my large family Bible, my bed, bed sted (sic), and furniture; one table, and chest; painted red; and my shotgun. If any of these articles should be sold, it is my wish Thomas Coram, his father, should keep the money untill(sic) the boy comes of age of twenty one; and then give it to the said William M. Coram.

5th. I do hereby appoint, constitute and ordain Ann Coram, Thomas Coram, and Robert Lazenby my executors; and executrix, to this my last will and testament. Signed with my hand and sealed this 30th of March, 1821.

Probate of the foregoing will Georgia Warren County. Personally appeared in open Court Robert Lazenby and George G. Davis and being duly sworn saith w/un oath that they saw William Coram sign and acknowledge the withon will, and further they say upon oath that they believe the said Wm Coram was of sound mind and disposing memory, they further say that John Farr requested Robert Lazenby to sign his name as a witness, and saw John Farr make his mark as such. Sworn to me in open court 10th Sept. 1821.
