This Indenture made this 7th day of May, one thousand eight hundred and five, between Jacob Burkhalter of Warren County & State of Georgia, of the one part, and James Carter of said County and State aforesaid, of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Jacob Burkhalter for and in consideration of the sum of Four Hundred Dollars to him in hand paid by the said James Carter, have given, granted and sold and by these presents do give, grant, sell & make over unto the said James Carter a tract or parcel of land in the County aforesaid, Beginning on Brier Creek, on Ambrose Edmondson's line & running North to a Post Oak corner, on the line of said James Carter's land, then with a line of the said James Carter's land to a Red Oak corner of Joseph Duckworth, then running with Bray Warren's land to Brier Creek, then running up the Creek to a stake at the ford below the Mill, then North thirty three yards to a stake, then West ninety three and a half yards to a stake, then South eighty two and a half yard to the main Creek, then up the main Creek to the beginning, containing ninety five acres more or less adjoining the land of Ambrose Edmondson, James Carter, Bray Warren, & Joseph Duckworth- To have and to hold, the land aforesaid, with the appertainances thereunto belonging unto him the said James Carter and his heirs, and the said Jacob Burkhalter for himself or his heirs, doth hereby warrant and defend the land aforesaid, unto the said James Carter and his heirs, from all persons whatever. This indenture made this seventh day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and five, Between Bray Warren of the State of Georgia and Warren County of the one part, and James Carter of the same State and County, of the other part. Witnesseth that the said BrayWarren for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars, to him in hand well and truly paid, at and before the sealing and delivering of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath given, granted, bargained & sold, and by these presents doth grant, bargain, sell, deliver and confirm unto the said James Carter, his heirs all that tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the State and County aforesaid, on the waters of Brier Creek, containing one hundred acres more or less butting and bounding, North East by Fews & Rochellwell's land, South by Jane Brook's land, West by May's land, and Duck, North by vacant at the time of Survey, having such shape, form and marks, as will appear by a plat of the same, annexed to the Grant, originally granted to James May 22nd day of July 1795. Together with all and singular the rights, members, and appertainances thereunto belonging, or in any wise appertaining for the only use benefit and behoof.. him the said James Carter his heirs warranting and defending the above described tract of land & premises against himself the said Bray Warren his heirs & assigns, or any other person or persons whatsoever claiming or to claim. Witnesseth that the said Bray Warren for and in consideration of the sum of Five hundred and fifty dollars to him in hand paid at or before the sealing and delivering of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledges, hath given, granted, bargained and sold and by these presents doth give, grant, bargain, sell, deliver & confirm unto the said James Carter, his heirs all that tract or parcel of land, situate lying and being in the County & State aforesaid, on Brier Creek containing one hundred and forty nine acres, more or less, butting and bounding from a State on the Creek, N. Georgia Warren County} Whereas Boze B Kitchens of said County Administrater of Lawrence Kitchens late of said County deceast did on the Seventh day of November in the year aforesaid our Lord Eighteen Hundred and forty four commenced the publication of a notice in the Chronicle _____ published at Augusta to all concerned that at the _____ of four months from that date said B B Kitchens, Adm as aforesaid would apply to the Honorable Inferior Court of Warren County when ?filling for ordinary purposes for leave to sell the land belonging to the Estate of said Deceast and whereas their being no objection made to said application the said Court did on the eighth day of April in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and forty five pass an order granting leave to said B B Kitchens Admr as aforesaid to sell said land and whereas in

_____ of said order and after the publication of the notice of sale in the Chronicle and ____ for Sixty days said B B Kitchens Adm as aforesaid did on the first Tursday in September in the year of out Lord Eighteen hundred and forty five at the Court House door at Warrenton in said County between the lawful hours of sale put up at publick outcry a certain tract or lot of Land in said County containing four hundred & twenty five acres more of less as appear by oridginal Survey and Timothy Kitchens being the Highest & best bidder said Lot of land was knocked of to him at and for the sum of one hundred & ninety five dollars.

Now this indenture made and _____ unto this second day of September in the year of our Lord Eighteeen hundred and forty five between B B Kitchens Adm of the Estate of Lawrence Kitchens late of said County Deceast of said County of the one part and Timothy Kitchens of said State and County of the other part Witnesseth that for and in Consideration of the sum of one hundred & ninety five dollars cash in hand paid by the said Timethy Kitchens the receipt wherof is hereby acknowledged the said B B Kitchens adm as aforesaid doth by these presents Bargain Sell _____ and convey as far as his authority as Admr on aforesaid will warrant him unto the said Timothy Kitchens all that tract of land Situate lying and being in the County & State aforesaid Adjoining land of Richard Rhodes & others and granted to the said Lawrence Kitchens on the twentyth day of January ?1832 Containing four hundred and Twenty five acres

Georgia Warren County} Know all men by these presents that I Boze B Kitchens of said State and County for and in consideration of the natural love and affection which have and bear to my Daughter Margan Hunter wife of William B Hunter of the same place and for is consideration of the sum of Three Hundred Dollars as stands charged to her as a part of my Estate to which the or her Legal Representatives shall at my death account for do by these presents give and grant unto my said Daughter Margan Hunter wife of William B Hunter a certain negro girl named Cinda about eight years of age and Dark complected to have and to hold the said Negro girl Cinda to her the said Margan Hunter her heirs and assigns for ever reserving to my self a lifetime ____ and for said negro girl Cinda and her increase if any. GEORGIA, WARREN COUNTY This Indenture made this 10th day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fourteen in the Thirty Eighth year of American Independence, Between Ephraim Ivy of the County & State aforesaid of the one part and Thomas I. Pate of the County aforesaid and State aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth: that for and in consideration of the sum of Three hundred Dollars, and 4000 weight of tobacco in hand paid unto said Ivy by said I. Pate at or before the Sealing and the delivering of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted, bargained, sold and confirmed __ unto said Thomas I. This Indenture made and entered into this the fifth day of April eighteen hundred and fifty between Lazarus Ivy of the one part and William Mayes of the other part both of the County of Warren, now this indenture witnesseth that the said Lazarus Ivy of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred dollars to him in hand paid at and before the Sealing and delivering of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath bargained and conveyed, transferred, and assigned over all my right title and interest in and to three hundred and fifty acres of land it being the one fifth part thereof lying in said County on the waters of Childras Creek land purchased by Jacob Smith from Isaac Davidson and Rubin Magee and willed by said Jacob Smith to his grand children Martha, Jeter, Mary Farr my wife, Cyntha Farr, Rebecca Farr and Jacob Farr after the death of their mother Catherine which said one fifth part of said land I do hereby for and in consideration of the sum aforesaid warrant and forever defend the right and title thereof unto the said William Mayes his heirs and assigns against the claim or claims of myself and all other persons whatsoever in fee simple.

Know all men by these presents that I Bradford Ivy of the County and State aforesaid for and in consideration of the sum of five dollars cash in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged as well as for the better securing the payment of a certain Promissory Note which the said Bradford Ivy hath this day made and delivered to Zacheus Ivy of the same place bearing ___ date with these presents and to become due on the twenty-fifth day of December next that whereby said Bradford Ivy promises to pay said Zacheus Ivy or bearer thirty one dollars thirty eight cents for value received have bargained and sold to the said Zaccheus Ivy the following property to wit: A certain Negro fellow named Pick, of dark complexion, sixty years of age, to have and to hold the aforesaid bargained property to him the said Zaccheus Ivy his heirs and assigns forever and I the said Bradford Ivy for myself my heirs, executors and administrators the said bargained property unto the said Zaccheus Ivy his heirs and assigns against me my heirs executors and administrators and against all and every other person and persons whatever Shall and will warrant and defend by these presents provided nevertheless that if the said Bradford Ivy his heirs executors and adminstrators shall and do will and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said Zaccheus Ivy his heirs and assigns the aforementioned sum of thirty one dollars thirty eight cents on the day mentioned and appointed for the payment thereof in said Promissory Note mentioned with lawful interest for the same according to the terms of said note then and from henceforth at will this Bill of Sale and the right to the property thereby conveyed as the said Promissory Note shall cease, ________ and be void to all intents and purposes In Testimony whereof the said Bradford Ivy hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal the day and year first above written. Witnesseth that the said Zacheus Ivy for and in consideration of the sum of One Thousand Dollars to him in hand paid by the said Jacob Printup the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged does by these presents grant, bargain, sell and convey at the death of my mother in law Catherine Grinade the one half interest in a certain tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the County of Warren adjoining lands belonging to said Jacob Printup, George W. Ray, Seaborn Ivy and Edmund C. Hardaway and containing two hundred acres more or less. The one half interest being one hundred acres together with all the privileges thereto in any wise appertaining to have and to hold the said granted premises of one hundred acres unto the said Jacob Printup his heirs and assigns in fee simple.

"Indenture between Robert Barton, planter and James McDade, planter, for fifty pounds sterling, 100 acres on Rockey Comfort Creek on Watery and Bon Branches. Signed: James McDade and Elizabeth McDade. Witnesses: James Barton and Samuel Beatty.

between Benjamin Rees of the State of Georgia & County of Columbia (now Warren) gentlemen, 
of the first part and Edmond Hayes of the said State of Georgia & County as before mentioned, 
carpenter, of the other part. 

Witnesseth that this said Benjamin Rees for & in consideration of the sum of One Hundred 
pounds sterling to him in hand will & truly be paid by the said Edmond Hayes at or before the 
sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath 
granted, bargained, sold, released, conveyed and confirmed, and by these presents doth fully 
freely & absolutely grant, bargain, sell, release, convey & confirm unto the said Edmond Hayes

interest and claim which the said Benjamin Rees now has in or to the premises or appurtenances

Whereas I Mathew English senr being in a declining and low state of health not capable of helping and supporting myself, also haveing one daughter namely Jenny in like condition not capable of takeing care & providing for her herself ye and I now being possessed of considerable property Viz. land, one mare & colt, about ten head of cattle, small stock of hoggs, small stock of sheep with one still, plantation tools of different sorts with household and kitchen furniture of different sorts ye all which I convenant and agree with my son Mathew English Jr for that is to say for and in consideration of his takeing me and my daughter Jenny into and under his care & suffering us during our natural life according to the best of his abilities in a reasonable descreationary way ye I hereby deed & give & deliver the said plantation with the before mentioned property Viz. the mare & colt, stock of cattle, Hoggs, sheep, plantation tools, house tools & kitchen furniture of every kind & sort with the still ye all into his hands & actual possession, he also hereby being bound & obliged to purform as above to take care of me dureing life and give me a decent burial & take care & support my daughter Jenny dureing life in the best maner her and his own circumstances will admit of ye. This Deed of Conveyance made this seventeenth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred & four and in the twenty eighth year of Americas Independence Between Mathew English senr of the State of Georgia & County of Warren, planter of the one part & his son Mathew English Jnr of the same state & county, planter of the other part. Witnesseth the sd Mathew English Senr for & in consideration of the sum of five hundred dollars justly paid ye by the sd Mathew English Jnr he the said Mathew English snr hath bargained & sold and by this deed of Conveyance doth bargain & sell, convey enfeeoff in fee simple make over & deliver unto him the said Mathew English Jnr unto his Heirs & assigns forever, all that plantation or tract or parcel of land containing about two hundred acres be the same more or less which was granted to Brock Davis under the administration of George Mathews Esqr. Govenor Ye the 31st day of December in 1787 situate lying & being in the then County of Wilkes now Warren on a branch Called Stamp branch Rocky Comfort bounded when run on all sides by vacant now west by Averats North by Wilders East by Rabuns ye since conveyed by sd Davis & wife to the said Mathew English senr by deed of enfeeoffment dated 17th May 1793 as recorded in Clerks office of this County in Book A fols 75. 76. January 20th 1795. This indenture made this twenty seventh of December one thousand eight hundred & eleven, in the thirty fifth year of American Independence, between Mary Dye a Widow & Mary Dye her daughter of the State of Georgia & Warren County planters of the one part, and Matthew English of the same State & County. Witnesseth, that the said Mary Dye, Widow, & Mary Dye her daughter, for and in consideration of the sum of Fifty five Dollars, to them in hand paid, before the sealing & delivering of these presents, doth bargain, convey, sell, make over, and confirm & by these presents hath bargained, sold, made over & confirmed unto the said Matthew English, his heirs & assigns forever, all that tract or parcell of land containing one hundred, thirty seven & half acres, be the same more or less, being part of a tract of land, granted to James Abbott & conveyed by said Abbott to James Rabourn, & from said Rabon to Saml Pouncey & Edward Booth, & from said Saml Pouncey & Edward Booth to Mary Dye, & the same one hundred thirty seven & half acres being a part of said tract, situate, lying and being on the South side of the Stamp Branch, begining at a poplar corner on said Stamp Branch runing South 15 West until it intersects the back line, to a Stake corner, thence turning up said line to a pine corner, thence along the old line to a dead pine corner, thence to continue the old line to a black gum corner on said Branch, thence up said Branch to the begining poplar corner, the same making one hundred thirty seven & half acres as before mentioned, together with all its improvements, & Hereditaments, & appurtenances in any wise thereunto belonging, to the said Matthew, to have and to hold, the said land and premises, together with every the rights, privaledges, emoluments thereof in fee simple forever, to him the said Matthew English, his heirs & assigns, clear of all claims of mortgages or widows dowers, and further, them the said Mary Dye Widow, & Mary Dye her daughter doth agree to covenant & maintain the rights & Titles to the said land, to him the said Matthew English, his heirs & assignees, & against the lawful claims of all manner of persons forever, I do warrant & defend the said Land unto him and his heirs, in testamony whereof we have hereunto set our hands & affix our seals the day & date first written.

This Indenture made this seventeenth day of January one thousand eight hundred and in the twenty fifth year of American Independence, between William English, planter of the one part and George Davis, Planter, of the other part, both of the State of Georgia, and County of Warren, witnesseth, that for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred & thirty dollars, in hand paid unto sd William English by sd George Davis at or before the sealing & delivery of these presents, the receipt whereas is hereby acknowledged, hath granted, bargained, sold, released & confirmed, unto the sd George Davis a certain tract of land, containing five hundred & sixty thre acres and a half, lieing & being in the County of Warren & State of Georgia, and on the waters of Little Brier Creek & Stamp Branch, adjoining lands of John North, Arthur Mathews & Joseph Abbott, the said land being sold by Samuel Pruitt Tax Collector for the said County, for the taxes, for the year one thousand seven hunderd & ninety nine, unto Joseph Duckworth the fourth day of December, together with all improvements, Hereditaments, & appurtenances thereunto belonging, to have and to hold, to him the said George Davis & his heirs and assigns forever, and further, he the sd William English, together with Lydia, his wife, conjunctively do covenant & agree to maintain, secure & defend the right & title of the sd land & premises to him the sd George Davis clear of all incumberances, claims of mortgages, or widow's dower, asserting by these presents, declairing the sole right to dispose of sd lands to be only visted on him the said William English & Lydia his wife, which they hereby confer and him the said Davis, his heirs, or assigns warranting and forever defending the same, the same against the lawful claim of all manner of persons whatsoever & forever. In testimony whereof they have hereunto set their hands & seals, the day and date above written.
