Free, Catherine I KNOW THERE MAY HAVE BEEN TWO "CATHERINE FREES" in the Providence Baptist Church in the early 1800's==one would be spelled with a "K" and be the daughter of Lewis and Kezziah Free and the other might be spelled with a "C" and possibly be the Catherine who was a wife of Bethuel Free. I am trying to get information about the Bethuel and Catherine Free that were descendants of Lewis Free---they were living first in Habersham County in the Batesville District and then in the 1840 census of Hall County were listed with four children. By the 1850 census they were LOST!!!! Any help would be appreciated.

Fuller, John G. was born about 1826. He was a civil war veteran, CSA. His wife was NANCY MAGGIE RUTH BOWMAN. They settled in Walton County Georgia, in the part that is now Barrow County. John G. Fuller died in 1898 and is buried at Chapel Church,. Winder, Ga beside his wife. I'd like to prove or disprove his parents were Ezekiel, born in SC., and Ann. I know that Ezekiel's father was William S. Fuller. John G. Fuller's siblings may be ~ Robert ~ Elizabeth ~ Luella ~ James ~ William F. ~ Green ~ Wilson ~ Nancy.
Equally important, I'd like to know the parents of Nancy Maggie Ruth Bowman. Family legend declares these Fullers and Bowmans may have lived in Tennessee and Alabama before settling in Georgia. I greatly appreciate any clues.

Hunt, Thomas I am searching for early background information re Thomas Hunt, born in S. Carolina; DOB-?; married Elizabeth Gaddis cc 1825-30; died cc 1847 and buried-?. Elizabeth was born in N.C.and her father was Archibald Gaddis of Habersham Co., GA. Thomas and Elizabeth's children were: Dennis Alexander, Hogan, Fredrick, Emily, Thomas, Washington, Archibald and Jackson (my great grandfather). After Thomas died his will indicated two additional sons, Jesse Carson Hunt and Calvin Jones Hunt. Calvin was born in Habersham Co., GA and Jesse could have been as well. The will mentions two sets of children, the older set and the younger set. The identity of Thomas' first wife is unknown to the researcher as well most of the older set of children. I seek infromation on Thomas' early life and researchers on this family that are willing to share information.
