Troup County Brickwall - John Shaw
I am looking for any information on John Shaw (wife Mary). According to notes left by my great aunt, "John Shaw arrived here from Ireland in 1772, per Colonial records." I am assuming that "here" is Troup County because later notes show his son, William W. Shaw, and grandson, James Elbert Shaw, moving from Troup County to Cass (Bartow) County in 1840. I am assuming John Shaw died before the move. Also, I have no idea what the "Colonial records" are that she mentioned. Any help is appreciated.
