HOGANSVILLE

Misses Fannie and Lucile Covin are visiting friends in Alabama.

Capt. And Mrs. T.J. Hightower, of Atlanta, visited Mr. and Mrs. M.H. Hightower this week.

Jim McGahee came down from Atlanta last Sunday, and he was royally received by his many friends.

We thank the Bishop for sending Rev. W.T. Bell to us again. He has won his way to the hearts of our people and will, no doubt, be instrumental in securing many new members for the churches.

Dr. and Mrs. G.L. Hudson entertained a few of their gentleman friends at a chitterling supper on the 4th inst. Among those present were Rev. W.T. Bell, Col. E.H. Strickland, Capt. T.M. Sikes, Messrs. Frank Word, E. Mobley, E.C. Prather, Walter Zachry, J.W. Hardy and H.W. Wooding.
Married at the residence of the bride's father, Dr. G.L. Hudson, on Sunday, Dec. 8th, Mr. Lon McGahee, of Greenville, to Miss Willie Hudson, Rev. W.E. Dozier officiating. Hogansville lost one of its brightest charms when Miss Willie left, but her happiness is the wish of every one; hence, we are glad she was won by such an excellent young man.
