Bethel Primitive Baptist Church

Bethel Baptist was formed 6-13-1830 in Talbot Co.(what is now Taylor County) and sought to buy the land of William Booth which is probably near the present HOREB Church on the Talbot Co line.
On 12-7-1859 the church dissolved and probably joined with the Horeb Church.
The first members of the church included: Robert and Mary Clayton; Wiley Clayton; John Pratt; Hampton and Martha Langly and Tapley Booth. See They Tarried in Taylor page 21 for later members.
