Leroy Marion Edwards was born in Talbot County, Georgia on 29 August 1830. He died in Brundidge, Alabama on 24 May 1898. He married Martha Mizell on 6 Nov 1849. LeRoy Marion, Mary Clementine and William Archibald Edwards were all children of Ambrose Edwards and Emeline James (Gaulding) Edwards.

Mary Clementine Edwards was born in Talbot County, Georgia on December 6, 1836. She died 28 September 1871 in Statesville, Alabama. Mary unfortunately died of burns she received while protecting her children from an exploding oil lamp. Mary married Mordecai White on 17 March 1853. Mordecai was not born in Talbot County. He was born 2 September 1829 in Brunswick County, Georgia and died 6 January 1896 in Alabama. Mordecai was a Captain in Company I, 57th Alabama Infantry during the Civil War. LeRoy Marion, Mary Clementine and William Archibald Edwards were all children of Ambrose Edwards and Emeline James Gaulding (Edwards).
