Harralson, Ga., April 20th To the members of Companies H, D, F, and G of the 53rd Georgia Volunteers:

I would like to open a correspondence with you and the other companies with a view of a reunion on sometime this year. Please address me. I learn that Col. J. P. Sims is dead and that Capt. R. H. Woods, of Senoia, is the ranking officer alive of the old 53rd.
