An Act to change the name of Griffin Collegiate Seminary
Section I. Be it enacted by
the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Georgia in General
Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by authority thereof—( Side note; Griffin
Collegiate Seminary to be called Griffin Female Collage )
That from and immediately
after the passage of this act, the institution now established in the city of
Griffin, and known by the name of “ Griffin Collegiate Deminary,” shall be
changed to , and known and called by the name of Griffin Female Collage
Sec. II. And be it further
enacted, by the authority aforesaid, That all laws militating against this Act
be, and the same are hereby repealed
