(Transcriber's note: This plat is for land located in district 17 of Sumter county and the purpose of the plat is unknown, however the individual who requested the survey is of some interest to Schley researchers and historians. Mrs. Homer Burton was wife of Homer W. Burton, only son of Capt. Robert Burton. She was born Clifford H. Tison, child of Hiram and Catherine J. Tison/Tyson, and married Homer Burton in Schley county on the 18th July 1865. In looking at a land lot map for the 17th district, it appears that the western edge of the parcel of lot 58 is probably defined by TyTy creek, which presumably flows into the Kinchafoonee.)
